What do you mean by higher color rendition in more categories?
In almost all of the categories of lighting we manufacture (Linear Fixtures, Downlights, Tape Light, Panels, Undercabinet, Shallow Linear), we are either the industry’s leader in color rendition (e.g. we offer 95CRI when everyone else is offering only 90CRI) or tied with the industry’s leaders.
Why is higher color rendition important?
Higher CRI gives more accurate color rendering
Is there such a difference between 80CRI, and even one 90CRI fixture and another one that has high R9 values?
Yes. Typically the most important color value (R9) is also the one that is the lowest. When a product has 80CRI, it typically isn’t 80% accurate for all colors, but rather the R9 value typically suffers and can be very low, sometimes even negative.
